Emily ChowMarriage and Family Therapist Trainee
Living can be hard and we all need support. If you are are feeling overwhelmed and alone or wrestling with circumstances that gets you down or stuck, I would be honored to walk alongside, support, and help you.
My approach is centered on what you need and can be both process oriented and pragmatic. Therapy can range from engaging in self-discovery of the drivers behind recurring feelings and challenges, to processing traumatic experiences and releasing pain, to helping the body and nervous system relax and find your grounding. Therapy can also involve problem solving together, learning new ways of coping and communicating, and exploring resources just to name a few.
Whether you are
* Struggling to be a parent,
* Having a hard time in your relationships,
* Struggling to find your place in life,
* Encountering difficult life changes or circumstances, to name a few
I will create space to work through the hard things together and without judgement. I will honor your pace and needs and will hold in high regard your voice, choice, and power.
I also have a heart for the Neurodiverse and those who struggle with their differences, with OCD, and with addiction.
I can be available for a 20 minute introductory call to discuss your needs and answer any questions. I look forward to speaking with you. – Emily
