Valene Ochoa is a dedicated graduate student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC). She is excited to embark on her journey as a pre-licensed clinician at Process Therapy Institute (PTI) and looks forward to becoming an integral part of the PTI community.
Valene is deeply committed to the field of mental health and is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal and emotional well-being. Her academic pursuits at NDNU have provided her with a strong foundation in psychology and therapy techniques, which she is eager to apply in her clinical work at PTI.
In addition to her studies and clinical work, Valene serves as a mentor in the NDNU STARS program. Her role as a mentor allows her to contribute to the growth and development of fellow students, fostering a sense of community and support within the university.
Valene believes in the power of therapy to create positive change in people’s lives and is dedicated to providing a safe and empathetic space for her clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. She is committed to tailoring her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual she works with.
