Description of Clinical Practice
When people say, "There's no time like the present" for getting something done, I believe they're saying something that applies to psychotherapy in a wonderful way. In the present moment, change is possible -sometimes in small steps, sometimes in surprising ways. Mindfulness practice and process therapy use the present moment to bring these changes within reach for each of us.

Using the process therapy model, I've seen my clients gain new perspectives and find emotional healing. Whether we want to deal with anxiety, have better relationships or get "unstuck" from our problems, I believe healing and change happen through awareness, non-identification, and compassionate acceptance. Process therapy also offers the flexibility to accommodate useful techniques from a variety of therapeutic methods and, so, we are able to tailor our work in the most supportive and healing ways.

I serve a wide socio-economic and culturally diverse population from all age groups. Most of my work is with individual adults and children, with some couples, family, and group work.
