Skills for Living from your Inner Therapist

Now we get to choose how we want be with our clients from this connection to our Inner Therapist. How we want to interact with the rest of the universe is our choice. Here are some skills that might help to keep us living from our Inner Therapist:

SHARING AND TELLING THE TRUTH
  The only way to experience fulfillment in the world is to honor one's own integrity. Anything else is self abandonment, which is painful. Being in our truth and sharing it with others, as necessary, keeps us free of our own entrapment. And it allows us to stay clear with our clients if our processes get in the way of their work with us. It is a way of cleaning up our messes. Our truth is always a resource to us as to what we might invite our clients to explore in themselves. Click here to complete the input on TRUTH.

FOLLOWING GUIDANCE
  Every experience is an opportunity to know ourselves better. The skills presented above can help us tune in to this self-knowing. The skills of Presenting, Introspecting, Attending, and Releasing allow us a path to this guidance.
  We receive guidance from our body, our mind, our emotions. Emotions are the way our Full-Self communicates with our mind/body-self. When emotions are negative, we are not acting in harmony with our Full-Self. When we experience positive emotions, we are.
  Guidance also helps us keep ourselves separate from our clients, keeps us connected to our Inner Therapist, and allows us to be in a state of ease as we help clients to explore their journeys.

  Now we can set forth our intention for ourselves and invitations to others. We can walk our talk. We can be genuine with others and generous in our spirit.
