My Theraputic Philosophy
What is your philosophy as a therapist?
I believe that what keeps us from feeling fulfilled in our lives is our attachments to our injuries and core issues that squeeze off our connection to the flow of well-being. One of the things I da as a therapist is to invite you to discover those restrictions and to invite you to release them.
I also believe the external conditions of your life have been created by your internal conditions, and that therapy is an internal journey that leads to external changes.
What methods do you use to accomplish this release of these restrictions?
I use whatever methods we discover are helpful in achieving this purpose. Some of them might include guided imagery, repression back to original trauma, dialogue with the internal conflict, working in a sand tray, using expressive arts, etc.
What is your spiritual perspective?
We are all on a journey of discovering more of who we really want to be in this lifetime and working towards peace and ease as we live our lives. That we are here to know ourselves through our experiences, expand towards our inner source , and to serve in a joyful way.
PSYCHOSPIRITUAL THERAPY Personal Growth through Expanding Consciousness
In my counseling/therapy model you will be invited to expand your consciousness, learn to resolve and transcend your core issues and injuries, to becoming more than your ego identity, and embracing a larger picture of your life. You will develop skills of non-attachment, non-resistance and allowance of the events and experiences you encounter. And from this non-reactive place you learn to take action that is consistant with your integrity and enhances your well being. When this becomes your process, you will be more at ease with yourself in this life of contrast, and can live from your essence of well being in your human experience.
What goals do you set for yourself as a helper of others?
to be in my expanded state where I can feel love for myself and others,
to invite awareness and expansion where others may know themselves better, and to set safe boundaries for myself where I do not participate in abuse, either through the sending or receiving of it.
What are your goals for your clients?
Clients' goals are set by the clients. I journey with them to wherever their journey takes them. Often they find out their goals were not what they thought they would be.
