I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern #62195 at the Process Therapy Institute in Los Gatos, Bay Area.
I am under the supervision of a licensed MFT therapist.
I am a Sex Therapist Intern focusing on Couples and Relationships.
- Do you have a hard time asking your partner what you want in terms of intimacy?
- Are you avoiding getting into an intimate relationship because you fear rejection?
- Are you in pain because of your partner's infidelity?
- Are you questioning yourself about your infidelity?
- Do you wonder if your fantasies are abnormal?
- Are you not sure about how to start conversation about sex with your children?
These are some of the questions that I can explore with you as well as many other relationship and intimacy issues.

- BA in psychology from Smith College and Wesley College
- MA. Masters of Science in Psychology from the PGSP, CA
- Master of Arts in counseling with a focus on Couples and Family Therapy
- I have worked as a school counselor for the last 3 years. I have also worked at a community based Counseling Center to assist children, families and individuals to improve their lives. I have trained and work as a volunteer at the Santa Clara Suicide and Crisis hotline.
- I have taken extensive and intensive human sexuality courses at the Institute for Advanced study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.

Topic
- Workshop is about how to provide more effective therapy to veterans by understanding their military culture.
- The main focus is on how to "talk" to members of the military and their families. Within that topic, stigma issues, the different services and re-integration strategies will be covered.

- Karen Wall is currently working as a registered nurse at in-patient psychiatry at Loma Linda VA hospital.
- She has a degree on MA Counseling psychology from Argosy University.
- She worked as a nursing director for in-patient mental health at the US Army Corps.
Cost
- No charge.
- There is an administrative fee of $25 if a CEU certificate is required.
