Couples Group
We are very happy to announce the launching of a new group for couples. We have been working on the development and pilot run of this program for the last year and believe you will find it to be an incredible process group for couples.
MONDAY EVENINGS. Click here for a map to the institute.
In the beginning.... two people fall in love and everything is wonderful. This is a romantic, magical, time. But it is also the time when couples give up their individuality and can become lost in the "us'ness of the relationship. Eventually, one of the partners is likely to feel suffocated or trapped and begins pulling away. The other partner then fears they are being abandoned and begins lobbying for more closeness in an attempt to pull their partner back in. Thus the basic power struggle in relationship begins. We believe that... deeply satisfying and enduring relationships are possible when the issues surrounding this basic power struggle are uncovered and dealt with; and each individual in the relationship feels accepted and seen for who they truly are. This kind of shift often requires great courage along with guidance and support. Our Couples group... is designed to guide couples in this journey of discovery, change and movement away from the power struggle. We have combined education and group support. Participants are thus invited to learn, understand and implement the concepts and skills needed to create...
...the relationship you've always wanted.
