I am Chevalisa Bruzzone and I have worked as a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at PTI since June 2009.

In 1987, in my senior year at college, I underwent a profound spiritual awakening which landed me on the psychiatric ward and started me on a long and very interesting journey toward wholeness.

Over the last twenty-five years, I have learned much about personal growth, natural health, energy medicine, multi-cultural forms of spirituality, addiction recovery, family dynamics, intimate relationships and the importance of community.

Of all that happened along the way, however, I experienced the most powerful transformation when I began to make conscious the connection between mind and body. We store all of our history, conscious and unconscious, deep within our tissue. By bringing awareness to the body and its movements, we allow for a profound unwinding that leads us back home to an inherent sense of vibrancy and wholeness.

As a result of this discovery, I bring a mindfulness-based, body-oriented approach to my sessions, offering clients a direct line into this kind of profound wholebody transformation. I include conscious, non-sexual touch if it is needed and wanted, as touch has played an essential role in my own healing. I also have a depth of experience in communication issues (NVC), dreamwork and astrology.
