Process Class
The goal of the Process Therapist is, without agenda or outcome, to invite the client to connect deeper and more completely to his experience in the moment. This connection provides an opportunity for the client to complete the experience. Completion leads to resolution and expanded consciousness. With expanded consciousness comes more choices. The Process Therapist is a client-centered therapist. He joins the process and while inviting its completion, always focuses and works with the client's reaction to the invitation. It is like a dance where the client leads and the therapist follows. The Process Therapist follows the client's processes and reactions within the experiential focus of the mind, body, psyche, and spirit. The Process Therapist knows how to make invitations that allows guidance for the client from all inner messengers. The Process Therapist becomes more and more able to transcend his/her own values and expectations of the client, and learns how to use countertransference as a tool rather than let it dilute the therapeutic environment. This class is composed of two very distinct and essential components:
