Use Of Physical Metaphors And Active Methods
Learn to create physical, experiential interventions that begin with client processes. Invitations to engage mind, body and psyche, they are especially great when used with couples. These action methods add new dimensions to your work with individuals as well. Learn to do an active sculpt, a mini-drama based on the ongoing process, creating metaphores out of what is going on right now and use them to deepen the client's work. Acuire many ways of turning the process into action. Instructor Don Hadlock, LMFT provides intensive trainings to licensed and pre-licensed psychotherapists and has been teaching the techniques and concepts of effective psychotherapy since 1982. He teaches with humor and respect for the learning process.
