Group Facilitation

This class will flow spontaneously from the interactions of all participants. We will be exploring from the perspective of mind (thought), body (somatic), emotions, and spirit. We will be exploring together some common human issues: vulnerability, safety, abandonment, entrapment, resistance, fear, anger, self-betrayal, disconnection from source, etc.

Skills to be developed for self:
Focusing on self (introspecting)
Staying in the moment (present-ing)
Owning our projections (taking responsibility for ourselves - instead of blaming or shaming)
Holding our frame (staying in charge of and taking responsibility for our own experience - not co-behaving or enabling)
Setting boundaries (for ourselves, instead of trying to change the behavior of others)
Transcending our limitations (expanding our perceptions, instead of allowing our issues to control us)
Developing ways of being respectful, accepting, without attachments to our agendas or judgments, transpersonal, holistic, allowing, loving, and joyful.

Group therapy models to explore:
Non-directive, indirect, and directive. We will learn to facilitate gestalt, interactive, psychodrama, dreamwork, and action-oriented groups.
