Psychotherapy
Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist #MFC15315
Los Gatos, California (408) 356-8200 x 443

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, I taught mathematics for eight years in public school and a variety of subjects in a private alternative school for four years before earning my master's degree and my family counseling license in 1980. I've been in private psychotherapy practice since then.

I work with a diverse population of people. Some have experienced emotional, physical, and/or sexual abuse. This often manifests as low self-esteem, free-floating anxiety, unresolved trauma, depression, anger, or grief. Some were uncherished as children or are members of that large group of intelligent, sensitive folks who sometimes wonder if they were born on the wrong planet. Others come to explore a relationship, perhaps with someone else, perhaps with themselves.
